SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
Audit the general purpose financial statements of the City and Redevelopment Authority in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and government auditing standards. Assist the City and Redevelopment Authority in the preparation of financial statements. Provide an opinion with respect to the City and Redevelopment Authority’s financial statements. Attend meetings of the City Council and Redevelopment Authority relative to the work set forth as requested by the City and presents a summary of the audit findings within four (4) months after the end of each year. Evaluate and test the City’s internal controls and provide recommendations to Council regarding the same.
